Undergraduate Mentoring Committee
Chair: Grace Krause
The Undergraduate Mentoring Committee coordinates one-on-one mentoring and professional development for STEM undergrads, to help them prepare for and apply to graduate school in the sciences.
About the Program
Purpose: To provide undergraduates interested in attending scientific graduate programs or working toward a career in a scientific discipline with mentoring to help them be successful in their chosen field.
Structure: Undergraduates interesting in attending graduate school or working in a scientific field will be paired with graduate student mentors in their anticipated field. Mentor-mentee pairs will meet once a semester and through email and/or one-on-one meeting throughout the semester as needed. This program is designed to be flexible and offer support and mentoring without extraneous meeting commitments.
